HOPKINS is a blatant legend and anyone that disagrees is clueless.

To say that he beat up on blow up middleweights is ridiculous

    - Hopkins vs Mercado (Hopkins won and here he was the underdog)

    - Hopkisns vs Robert Allen (Hopkins won and here he was the underdog)

    - Hopkins vs Trinidad (Hopkins won and here he was the underdog)

    - Hopkins vs DLH (Hopkins won and here he was the underdog)

    - Hopkins vs Tarver (Hopkins won and here he was the underdog)

    - Hopkins vs Wright (Hopkins won and here he was the underdog)

    - Hopkins vs Pavlik (Hopkins won and here he was the underdog)

Every single time a fighter was put in front of him the odds were against him and he was the underdog.

There's always an excuse and most people find that by saying the fighters he fought were blown up after or weight drained.

Pavlik for instance, more than 70% of the boxing press thought Hopkins would get knocked into retirement.

After taking Pavlik to school that just shows you something, at 44 this guy is a legend, nothing more .. nothing less.

nobody can dispute that out of all the top fighters, hopkins career is without a doubt the most questionable...marvelous marvin, srl, ali, srr, srl, even sweet pea whitaker... nobody sayshat they spent a career beating up on smaller fighters, or says too much about their career accomplishments or whether they deserve to be hof, atg, or whatever the top accolade is...

The middleweights he fought weren't as big as him? Trinidad, Echols, Allen, etc. ?
