Rest in peace to a great man, who raised 5 talented boys.

I always thought GRSr was an inspiration to all fathers, boxing and otherwise.

His sons are all conscious brothers as well, the sign of conscientious parenting

    If you know, you know

And rice which has a very high glycemic value can be made less impactful by turning it into a resistant starch by using parboiled rice. The one I love is Uncle Ben's converted rice. Also Basmati rice as well. Potatoes can be high but cooked and cooled ones like in Potato salad have a lower glycemic value. But Bagels are the worse of all so nothing I can do with them as much as I like them so they have been gone from my diet for ages. I went to a buffet in Maui and ate 7 desserts and then walked for 30 minutes afterward and my sugar levels were an amazingly low 126. Without the walk, it would have been probably at a bad 170 or above on my glucose meter.
