Not hating anyone that wants to get a check, but this fight is pointless.

Didn't Canelo lost one for PED's? Just asking...

Is it safe to assume Canelo is already up 4-0 on all the cards, as the Bivol fight showed us?

What chance does GGG have, if Canelo can just cover up on the ropes and get a decision. Imagine how the cards will be if he actually fights.

Ggg will never get a decision against canelo. There is no point to this fight.

It’s amusing to read all the Benevidez hype after he KO’d Lemieux and then read the comments from those same people stating that GGG is some weak-ass opponent for Canelo. So I guess the great Lemieux would stomp GGG now? Lots of comments stating that Golovkin is an easy fight…Tell me, when has anyone ever had an easy fight with Golovkin? Anytime someone has gotten in the ring with him they had to go through hell, but usually his opponents get stopped before going through that Hell. Even an old GGG is a tough fight. Canelo will never underestimate Golovkin.

This is a win/win fight for Canelo. It's the most lucrative fight out there right now, and he can put the trilogy to rest with a definitive win over an aged out GGG. The win boosts his confidence and bank account and sets up the rematch with Bivol. If he takes a high risk/low reward fight with Benavidez and loses, he loses his titles and his leverage.
