To all fools claiming canelo ducking benavidez keep in mind ginger still has 2 contractual fights left with dazn, unfortunately bandera roja a pbc fighter so its not easy fight to make at least for the moment but still confident fight will eventually happen at some point in next 24 months

Four yrs too late! Canelo didn’t want to put himself through a 3rd grueling fight with Ggg then…Of course now that Ggg is 40 and has shown obvious diminished skills in every phase in his last 2 fights. This wont be anywhere near a competitive 50/50 fight like the 1st two.

Who knows? Perhaps Canelo's roids are wearing off.

Benavidez blew his chance twice WTF. If he never lost his titles due to drugs and missing weight he still be champion and would have got the chance, nobody to blame but himself

A complete "no win" situation for Canelo. He got humiliated against Bivol. Didnt demand an immediate rematch. Now he's going after a faded 40 year old ex foe in Triple G. He'll obviously win that fight only to be laughed at for waiting 4 yrs. At least Triple G would've been at a reasonable age of 36-37-38 if the Triology happened when it was supposed to. For this fight to happen now is criminal. The only people excited about this fight are the people that gave Canelo 3 rounds or more in his Bivol fight. Otherwise nobody is interested. Will we watch? Sure. But I won't be paying a penny. Lots of pirate sites for free. Fights that are 50/50 that get my anticipation level high, I pay for. Let's hope Triple G cracks him . That would be the best thing that could happen to boxing.

Very surprised Canelo isn’t demanding the immediate Bivol rematch. I think he bought into the hype (talking about taking on Usyk should have been the dead giveaway) so maybe the loss will humble him and refocus him.

Don't count on Bivol losing to anyone else soon. He's in his absolute prime. Boxing people have known about Bivol for awhile. Bivol is probably the least called out fighter in boxing today. Oh, your hearing the calls now. Why ? Because Bivols name is massive after he toyed with P4P king Canelo. We'll see Bivol vs Beterbiev before the year's end. Bivol will beat Beterbiev. Then we'll see Bivol dip into 168 for either Benevidaz or Canelo in the new year. . Neither of Benevidaz or Canelo are challenging Bivol at 175. Bivol will go to where the money is. Take that to the bank.

The guys at 175 are just a little to big for him, I see the reason for vengeance but I think the rematch will play out about the same, the only thing I can say if he goes forward later on with Bivol, there is more room for adjustment on the Canelo side than the Bivol side. Bivol would have to fight the same fight to win, if he stands more in front of Canelo, that gives Canelo more opportunities, so he will the same game plan. Canelo on the other hand, can come in lighter, around 172, 73 imo, use his Jab more and forget about going to Bivols arms, going to the body is the key, which he did not do, even with all that it's still a tall task. At this point I have more interest in 168 match ups, especially against Benavides, that fight would have more interest on Cinco de Mayo next year, I actually found the Bivol fight Boring, Canelo vs Benavides is can't miss match up.
Canelo threw as many jabs as he ever has- the only fights where he threw more were against Golovkin and Callum, so it's not like he didn't throw it; Bivol was just better at jabbing and controlling distance. And quite a few of the arm shots were due to Bivol stepping out of range and putting up a high guard, so it wasn't strictly Canelo going for his arm. He also did go to Bivol's body. Dmitry was not only blocking the shots to the body, he was also catching and shooting, which Canelo clearly wasn't used to. And I find it funny this is the particular fight you found boring.
