I did originally think both Cartwright and Eggington would be decent fights but forgot Jeffers is at 168, that's too far for both to go.
I remember thinking somebody deserved the win and got jobbed a bit but can’t remember who.

Thought Eggington might’ve been on the Wolverhampton card being a local lad. I hope they make Eggington vs Gilley.

    • Excellent show FW put on Saturday night, thoroughly enjoyed it:
      > Didn't catch Collins, was surprised when I saw how close it was but apparently Miller was far better than was anticipated.
      > Have gotten accustomed to Ekow digging out the win late on but he left himself too much to do, was quite impressed with Scarff, awkward style. Wonder if he'll take Ekow's IBF position?
      > Bentley's game plan was terrible, should have seen after about two rounds that he wasn't going to blast Heaney out of there. No idea what he was doing. Great win for Heaney, looks like he'll get a huge fight at the stadium soon.
      > Davies was very entertaining as always, never in a bad fight. Intrigued to see who he's in with next.
      > Ball very good.
      > Dacres less so, didn't catch it all as had Azim on at the same time but many people were saying he lost which if true is quite embarrassing really. Would only watch him next if he was in with Adeleye or Moses. Wardley demolishes him.

Seeing Davies got me thinking about Baluta and accordingly Andrew Cain. Have you heard anything about a ring return RJJ-94-02=GOAT? Exciting fighter and thought he was done harshly by that Baluta decision. Wasn't rooting for him to be honest but could not believe he wasn't given it at the time.

Yeah very deep card, typical f***ing Bricktop though not starting the main event until 11:30pm.

Both the Bentley and Essuman losing shocked me. Especially Bentley tbh, I expected him to be a level above Heaney. I expected Scarff to give a good account of himself but thought Essuman would have too much. Both got their tactics spot on tbf. Full credit to them.

Cain’s probably just waiting for a call, think he’s been sparring with McGrail, so I’m assuming he’s back in training. Thought he might get a slot on this card or even a slot on the same card of fellow ERT fighter Brad Strand on Dec 1st. I’d like to see the Baluta rematch too.

Too many of his cards end on a Sunday! Although to be fair I'm not sure he was expecting every fight except Davies to go the distance, especially Collins and the main event.

Completely agree on Bentley and Essuman.

Fair enough, look forward to seeing Cain back. Would've thought Baluta-McCann II would be next, but give Cain a couple knockovers in the meantime and then he can step back in to that sort of level imo, talented and exciting fighter to watch.

Yeah I reckon it’ll definitely be McCann who gets first crack. I don’t think Frank has invested much in Cain, he’s only ever been featured on the smaller bills. Shame him, McGrail and Strand are all from the same gym because they’d be good opponents for each other.

Agree, McCann next. He's out in the States with Goosen iirc? Interesting to see how that goes. Hopefully make that for January/February next year.

Interesting to see what Goosen can do with McCann. Hopefully, he gets some good sparring out in the US.

                • For a second there, I thought Chisora was fighting Kownacki!

Nearly happened at one point, think Kownacki turned it down.

                    • Think Bivol might need a new opponent. Heard a few rumours Arthur is gonna have to pull out.

Also, Prince Patel is getting a second crack at the IBO title. Fighting Liborio Solis in Ghana.
