Middleweight is an absolute wasteland atm, can’t ever remember it being this much of an afterthought in all the years I’ve followed boxing.
Ideally we'd get Bentley-Sheeraz next in spring/early summer 2024 after these two fights but I can't see it. Is there a scenario where Denzel fights Janibek/Gualtieri, vacates the British and Sheeraz takes on Conway for the vacant?

Middleweight is shocking. Elijah Garcia might be the next incumbent, he was in a very decent fight on that Canelo-Charlo card and he looks exciting. This may be very much a rumour but weren't Showtime going to do a Floyd exhibition in December with Thurman and Danny Garcia on the card? Hopefully (if only to get it out the way) that might be the Garcia-Lara fight for the WBA.

Whose card is that? Is he actually with Conlan then, maybe just a stay-busy?

The build-up for that could be alright. Feather you'd think or 122? McGregor should deal with him although his career seems to have nosedived after he got that (controversial) win over Kash.

Yeah I’m pretty sure Bentley is only one fight away from winning the British title outright, so providing he gets past Heaney there’s a good chance he vacates.

That division desperately needs a star. I think it’s legit tbf or at least from a legit source, think it was Dan Rafael who first reported it.

Some French promoter I think, think Dilmaghani is on the B side.

I was thinking 126 but then McGregor has only just moved up to 122. Hard to see Lowe moving down in weight at this stage of his career. He was talking about moving down to fight Prince Patel though.

Sounds like a mess, but if we get Thurman-Stanionis and Garcia-Lara or something that’s a decent card even without whatever rubbish Floyd’s doing.

Makes sense for Bentley to vacate then. Should Sheeraz win the vacant he could always come back.

Interesting. Opponent doesn’t look up to much to be honest. Always the chance he’ll get robbed though.

I don’t blame him, definitely worth a tough weight cut to batter the Prince for decent money (although I’d be rooting for Patel in that one!). Yh would be odd to go down.

Yeah I’ll literally just watch the undercard, same with Fury-Ngannou.

I’ve noticed they’re both climbing the WBO rankings too, I imagine if they do meet next year Frank gets the WBO to sanction it as a final eliminator or even for an interim title like they did for Joyce
