I quite like that fight, good step up for Smith.

That’s a very disappointing card, you’d expect them to at least stack the undercard as the main event is essentially a tune up.

Yeah he’s ill apparently, wouldn’t mind them rescheduling that fight, Markic looked dangerous against Callum Johnson while it lasted.

As long as Fury-Usyk gets made, it’ll be regular BT I think.
Agree, good opponent for Dalton and then hopefully the European after that sometime late summer (is Poulsen the champion? Don't they keep rescheduling his fight or is that someone else) would be a nice next step.

Poor card I agree. Won't be shelling out for it.

Shame that, as you say Markic isn't a bad opponent.

Yeah think he’s rematching Petitjean, think Smith would comfortably deal with both of them, they should definitely target the EBU in 2023.

Yeah there’s not one fight on that card that’s interesting. Wardley-Ali is about the best but I think we all know how that one ends.

Cain vs Baluta on the Queensberry March 25th card. Big step up for Cain who’s one of the most underrated fighters in Britain IMO.

I was hoping they'd get him out on the Yarde card. If he can take out Baluta then he could prove to be a special talent.

That is a good fight. If he stops Baluta that’ll be extremely impressive. Would I be right in saying Cain and McCann, while not quite as far through their development, have higher potential than Davies - who would you favour in a fight between the first two?

That’s a tough one, as I’m high on both, gun to my head I’d pick McCann but wouldn’t be a confident pick by any means.

Stopping Baluta would be a major statement. It’s bold matchmaking tbf. Frank needs to do a Liverpool card with Ball and Cain. Ball vs Jazza for the IBO would be a great headliner.

Would love to see it down the line, both look class. Reckon McCann would have Davies convincingly now? Or would it be close given that Davies has mixed in higher quality opposition

Shows the belief they’ve got in him. That’s a great idea tbf, they need to get Ball in with renowned domestic fighters like ****ens etc, he was getting some attention from the casuals after the Isaac Lowe fight, needs to keep riding that wave.

He’s the better technician, McCann is a very skilled fighter and I could see him outboxing Davies but Davies could definitely take him into deeper waters than what he’s used to, he’s had everything his own way so far as a pro and I’d expect Davies to at least have some moments.

I’d pick McCann by UD though if it happened, I reckon Frank pulls the trigger on that fight at some point in the next 12 months.
