Terrific fight. Any closer on Wood-Lara or is there a feeling it’ll end up being Kiko to protect Wood-Warrington in the summer?
Conlan against one of the above in a unification is a tantalising prospect.

Wood-Lara is close based on most reports but I’m skeptical, I have a feeling Wood-Martinez is more likely tbh. Martinez has vacated the European title foo so he’s obviously expecting something.Comment

I see, rate that. Hopefully two domestic opponents - a Gardner type and then possibly Ballingall for the English would be perfect, but I'm not holding my breath. Reckon at least one will be a continental opponent with a superficially reasonable record who's really there to add to the Azim early KO highlight reel. Guess we'll see.Comment

What is the position with domestic title fights by the way - how frequently would a board allow a fight like that to take precedence over a mandatory? So say Sky were to say 'you're going to make £8-12k in your next defence fighting your mandatory, we'll offer you treble that and a slot high up on the card to defend against our prospect', I presume they'd have to go to the BBBofC and they'd have to accept the request - are you only allowed to fight mandatories for the belt absent a request?Comment
