Anything at all on Wardley/Agyarko opponents? I'm anticipating knockovers with about a 4% chance of winning...
Yeah I heard the same rumours, I doubt it’s him now, surely would have been announced by now.

Agyarko is moving down to 154 so probably just a tune up, I think the plan is to make Agyarko vs Spike O’Sullivan on a Katie Taylor undercard later in the year- preferably in Ireland.

They tried to get Lucas Browne over for Wardley but I think he’s waiting for a bigger cash out fight after scoring an upset vs Fa. Somebody like Wach would fit the bill, with the fight only a few weeks away I wouldn’t rule out Kevin Johnson getting another payday either.

Fair enough, I had heard about Agyarko going down to light middle. I'm not at all an ITK, but there seems to be a lot of talk about Browne being lined up for the first fight of Parker's Boxxer deal - as you say, the Fa 1st round KO probably makes him (on paper) a viable opponent for a bigger name a la Dubois etc.
Those seem reasonable shouts for Wardley as well. To be honest, as long as the Gorman fight is the one after, I'm not too fussed who he fights, he's been out of the ring a while.

I’d be all for Wardley vs Gorman but I reckon network politics will get in the way. Seems Wasserman are taking Nathan down the IBF route.

Looks like Boxxer are establishing a strong link with the McGuigans. Both Okolie and Billam-Smith have been linked with a move to Sky/Boxxer today. They have forged a similar relationship with Mick Hennessy which is why fighters like Hughie, Eggington etc have linked up with Boxxer/Sky.

Great move by Boxxer IMO. Also makes me wonder whether an MTK link up was on the cards prior to the links to Kinahan being exposed.

Hearn is in a battle to keep his fighters and seemingly to sign new ones. Losing CBS and Okolie would be big blows to him. Looks like Boxxer have links with Maree boxing promotions too, with their talent fighting over on Sky. Just signed a guy called Shakiel Thompson who looks like the goods.

Hopefully it leads to them signing Jack Massey too, he deserves some TV coverage. Good fighter IMO.

Looking at the BBBoC circular, I'm enticed by a couple of the potential fights at 147 for the British; Essuman defending against Antwi, and Crocker-Kongo as an eliminator. Promotionally these seem a bit problematic - what chance would you give them of happening?

Boxing is pretty much dead here in the US

Shalom has just said in an interview that they've put in a £1.2m offer for Joyce to fight Parker.

Essuman vs Antwi is very likely IMO. Really like that fight too.

Crocker-Kongo I think is unlikely cause it seems they’re taking Kongo down the ABC route rather than having him go for domestic titles. Would be all for that fight too though. Both good matchups.
