You have leverage over the guys you're not planning to fight, cong****. Ryan Garcia sells a lot of tickets too. Kambosos-Haney about to happen in a stadium. Not sure they even have as much leverage as they think in these fantasy fights.

tank is like the villain hiding in the shadows, teo is now gone from 135, loma at war and getting on a bit too, haney in a big fight going to oz but talk of him moving up too, it will just be tank and fights that never happened or eventually did too late, thats not a good blueprint imo, he may eventually hold some more belts and i do think he wants belts, every boxer doesComment

Simply put - Davis will NEVER risk that 0 and will NEVER dare to be great and have any kind of legacy. Davis and his team are content fighting B-level competition in ppv mismatches and will obviously continue to do so with Ellerbes BS built in excuse. Davis with his mad skills and power should be top 3 p4p a long time ago. Wasting away his prime.Last edited by IRONCHINHAGLER; 05-23-2022, 10:39 AM.Comment

The one true thing Ellerbe said is that Davis IS highest paid of all the 135 pounders and he puts more buts in the seats. You can argue about the numbers are the revenue he generates. None of the other 135'ers come close. I think belts do matter though for the bargaining table.Comment
