everyone thinks benavidez can beat canelo because hes won and lost some vacant titles fighting bums over the last 9 years and blocks punches with his face

Benavidez did what he had to do, but I'm not anointing him as the biggest killer in boxing because he battered an undersized guy who BJS schooled over 6 years ago.

Movement, Defense, endurance, jab, power.

These are the attributes that trouble Alvarez.

Benavidez for me, does not have great movement & his defense is lacking. But he does have power, and a decent enough jab.

So the fight between him and Alvarez will be competitive, if the fight is made next.

Soon enough due to Benavidez making big weight cuts, his form is going to tank big time etc.

Bivol and Benavidez don’t fight alike whatsoever. Bivol is a moving target, Benavidez is a stationary target. I’m no fan of Canelo but he deals with Benavidez pretty comfortably IMO.

Maybe Benavidez beats the dog**** out of Canelo and Janibek does the same to Andrade but that's not my point really. You get a handful of idiots making foolish claims after seeing one ridiculous mismatch that couldn't tell anybody anything about what would happen in a real fight but statements were supposedly made.

A lot of people on here tend to overreact after mismatches, that is true. Unfortunately we have way too many mismatches in the sport today
