When is Munguia going to stop fighting bums?

After that scare with Hogan they've been walking on eggshells moreso than before.

Even if you hate Clenny, at least he was fighting pretty big names by the time he had 39 fights. This Mongo guy, stiff after stiff after stiff after stiff!

Maybe I should try this recipe, sounds pretty good and obviously Mongouia loves it!

    Cherry Pie Chimichangas
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
    • 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
    • 1 tsp lemon zest
    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • 8 (8-inch) small flour tortillas
    • 1 (21-oz) can cherry pie filling
    • vegetable oil, for frying
    1. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl and set aside.
    2. In a small bowl, use a fork to whisk together the cream cheese, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
    3. Spread a small amount of this in the center of each tortilla.
    4. Put about ¼ cup of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese, then roll up the tortillas tight, like a burrito.
    5. Put on a plate and chill for about 30 minutes (if possible).
    6. Pour about 1" of oil into a deep frying pan, and heat. When hot, add two or three rolls and allow to brown on one side before turning them over to brown on the other side.
    7. Remove and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture, then set aside while you finish the remaining chimichangas.
    8. Allow to cool before serving.

Sad part is he already stepped up in 2018 with Smith and Ali. Won those fights, then stepped down significantly.

He's just wasting his career, waiting for GGG or Canelo to throw him a bone. Just like Demetrius Andrade, David Benavidez, and Jermall Charlo.

He was a weight bully against Ali, even the industry was saying it. I rarely rate UK fighters. I love the UK, they just rarely produce great fighters.

You can nit pick the Ali and Smith wins if you want but regardless, they're easily the two best wins on his resume. He peaked four years ago and has only gone steadily down in terms of quality of competition.

They have no confidence in him and they rather get him a big fight against GGG or look for a weak champ. He has improved a bit but it is hard to tell because they don't match him tough. The Rosado win was okay and it shows that the things they are working on works but I want to see how he does against a younger skilled fighter that is much fresher.

The biggest bum slayer in boxing, which is saying a lot.

            Munguia is an embarrassment.

Probably never. One of those guys who will randomly lose to an 8/1 underdog in a couple of years because that's the only opposition he faces.

160 is a bit of a wasteman division tbh. GGG didn't face Andrade and both are moving up it seems. Charlo facing nobodies. Then you have Munguia and Eubank with their low-risk attitude.

Yup. Munguia and Eubank are cut from the same cloth.

I think in Eubanks case after the Groves loss he realised he’s not elite and is now content making paydays.

Calling out an old 147lber Kell Brook was an embarrassment
