We missed that fireworks. He wants the smoke, I say let him have, we are the winners, along with whoever comes on top. Be safe
Crawford and Spence are already in negotiations if that fight doesn't happen it's because of Terence Crawford he's not the A-side it's 1 belt against 3 he is going to try and price himself out just watch. Eh Gamboa-Lopez had some allure at one point but once I saw Juan Ma get hurt by Rafael Vazquez and Bernabe Concepcion I knew it was only a matter of time until he eventually got Salidoed. If he would've beat Orlando the next fight was going to be Gamboa, which honestly was a blessing in disguise because Gamboa in his prime would've probably obliterated Juan Ma in under 3. Bob Arum is the one to blame for that fight not happening but to be fair everyone you just mentioned had a name already Morrell doesn't let him fight 1 former champion and from there he might get some exposure.

That's is the issue, what former champ would like to serve, as an stepping stone? It's not that easy to find an smith, saunders or plant to take on Morell jr. They will fight benavidez first.

What does David's brother have anything to do with this? Why bring up his brother and Crawford. Probably getting under David's skin was the goal.

Saunders is retired and Smith is at 175 so both those are not possible anymore. Plant has a fight lined up and is seemingly on route to fight either Charlo or Benavidez, I assume it would be Charlo in his first fight at 168 and the winner will take on David but well see. You said it yourself they would rather fight Benavidez first because he is a name and it would sell, Morrell would be a step back until he makes a name for himself who cares if he has a secondary title it's meaningless when there is already an undisputed champion in that division.

There are other fighters that Morrell could fight that are better than his past opponents at the very least look at the guy he's fighting next do you consider him credible? As far as recent champions they aren't any but he can always fight Dirrell they are both with PBC or even Uzcategui once his suspension is up.

The problem is PBC doesn't have anyone for him but if he was willing to fight on DAZN he could fight guys like Ryder, Richards, Gongora, Bek, Rosado, Akhmedov, etc.

ryder was his mandatory and Hearn took him thru anothe path. He was supposed to fight him after caceres. If I recall correctly, ryder was at the Armory that night. The guy his fighting is an unknown, he has a decent record and has taking "0" from other fighters. Direll has a name, but he will get massacred, fans will criticize him for doing that. Who else is up there? Who do you think he could fight to prove his worth?

Please don't talk about Ryder being his mandatory because Morrell's title belongs to Canelo please remember that Hearn was pushing for that fight everyone knows it. Lol ok though so let me get this straight Dirrell (a former world champion) is a bad fight but Kalvin Henderson (only 6 of his 15 opponents had winning records) is a worthy fight got it, I think our conversation ends here we've carried on long enough.

You got me wrong, like I said henderson is an unknown, looks okay on paper, never see him fight. Now direll, I have seen plenty of him, and people don't have him in high regards. And no, hearns was not pushing for that fight, I don't where you got that from. He even said that he will face bivol. I ask you, who do you think, beside benavidez, can give credibility to Morell jr? And no, I don't beleive in that belt, and yes he was his mandatory, regardless of what we think of the belt, that's the way those crooked outfits operates. You can reply or not, doesn't do anything for me one way or another. Be safe

I just looked up Morrell's height. He is 6'1. Almost all the guys Benavidez has faced were shorter and it was harder for them to penetrate Benavidez height and high guard. I think Morrell would touch him to the body and bring his guard down and tattoo Benavidez.
