The epitome of a HYPOCRITE, a fake Christian who let a gangster manage him, collected millions of dollars while defending those same belts he's talking smack about and just one salty, hating, jealous MF, thankfully he's retired and we don't have to see his awful boring self anymore...

I cant see what the org does to collect 3 percent. I understand they wanna get paid too but why so much a fighter like Canelo making 50 mil to fight is literally buying somebody in the org a yacht that's insanity. Then you have Josh Taylor giving 12 percent to fight a mandatory when his cut is just over a 100 grand what is the incentive to keep that title and stay undisputed

Yeah 3% for each sanctioning-body, whats the problem? Undisputed/12% comes around once of twice in a boxers career, not many undisputed champs will keep all the belts ; you have the option to claim the lineage and not even have to pay a single fee, IF you vacate.

But see boxers are pretty dumb for getting punched in the head.

I say the WBA did the 'Tart-Tomato' Josh Taylor a favor, the chump is now paying only 9%, but if he were more intelligent, popular and liked, he would of vacated and moved up.

I'll tell you how I would hustle the system, since I know that belts are a marketing tool that helps the networks gain subscribers, I tell them to pay my sanctioning fee otherwise I drop my belts -- I would still fight on their network, but they lose subscription, its like extortion.

See I'm kicking real facts, another classic post by 1hourRun poster of the decade, vote for me!

Very true, less belts, but it probably won't go back to the old times as in one champion per division.

If boxing was ruled by one main organisation like Dana does with the UFC, then the best would have to fight the best, no hiding behind networks and promoters.

The only thing then is, the boxers probably wouldnt get these huge paydays. You wouldn't see the millions that Mayweather and Pacquiao got, for example. There probably wouldn't be the kinds of pay that Canelo gets either.

But the sport's appeal and integrity would be greater. Although I guess many pro fighters would say legacy and all that doesn't pay the bills.

1 title per weight class would make it so only the actual best fight for it. Sanctioning body rankings are garbage. They have C and D level fighters ranked as top 10. Weed out the mediocre.

But with 4 titles, plus the ****** lower titles, every top 10 ranked fighter in a weight class can be called a title holder. It’s so ******.
