I wouldn’t go as far to say threw away their integrity, they made a few questionable decisions but they’re very few and far between. I mean look at the examples you listed that’s what? 3 in 15 years? They’re not perfect but their rankings remain credible and valid IMO.Comment

One is too many. They're owned by a promoter and their explicit, given purpose for changing their title policy was that too many titles were vacant.

If nobody earns it the title should stay vacant forever. The only reason to crown a champion is when the best beats the best. Period.Comment

You can take issue with their championship policy that’s fine, but going back to my original point their Rankings are definitely credible. They generally always give a pretty accurate reflection of the top 10 of each division.

They're obsolete. There's no reason at all for The Ring to exist anymore. The TBRB has replaced their usefulness.Comment

The Ring still holds a lot of weight with boxing fans man. Especially the older generation. TBRB don’t really have the recognition yet although I do recognise their rankings as legitimate.Comment
