Nash likes the monitor idea. One static view is too restrictive. Often as well, a round can be fought entirely in one corner of the ring, and that can favour one guy depending on the angle. A TV varied view gives a far better reflection of what is actually happening/landing. Nash out.

I think that judges are at a disadvantage because they are watching the fight in real time. A remedy for this would be to allow the judges to view the fight through monitor screens; Pretty much like any telecast or broadcasting team. This way they would have a much clearer view of the action with out any impediments like the ropes and referee etc.

        - - U don't think though.

U cognitive functions muddle like most boxing fans who almost never undertake to score a fight as per established rules of scoring that are years outdated but at least establish a baseline.

Problem being incompetent and/or corrupt commishes install their sycophants for nefariou$ purpose that renders rules of scoring and/or officiating a bout a moot point.

What would the chances be of said hardcore fan being unbiased ?

There is likely very little chance of such a thing. Single digit percentage of boxing fans, in the history if pro boxing, are unbiased.

Basically everything that is at your disposal when you watch it on tv and discussing it on boxingscene.com, is all gone now.

Also remember, you are sitting down in one spot, so your view of a particular exchange of punches is blocked due to bad angle, too bad just guess what happened or try to go with the crowd reaction. You can also look at if any of them ends up staggering to see if maybe someone got hurt in that exchange that you couldn’t really see.

So how bad would you be as a ringside judge?

I ask this because, I think the pro boxing judging system is far broken and needed an overhaul like decades ago. Judges scorecards are often times way off and the biggest issue with that is that no, not all judges are actually bribed or fixing fights. I think they are just forced to be in competent due to the way they have to score fights.
              Couldn’t be any worse than 115-113 X 3 in the Bivol/Canelo fight.

I’d give Adalaide Byrd a run for her money.

You better believe historians have their favorites.

I wouldn't trust fight ''fans'' to judge a hot dog eating contest.
