Has he? He never fought Lara, Canelo, Andrade when they were there. It's a weak division, so it's easier to thrive at 154. Why should he be ducking some new blood with an established name moving up?

I'll give you Lara, but he was signed to fight Amdrade, and Andrade pulled out. When he and Canelo were both champions at 54, canelo said he couldn't make the weight anymore, and moved up.

Crawford isn't exclusively on ESPN anymore.

Nice shot though from Charlo, telling him go and fight Ennis. Then again, Crawford and Spence will not stay much longer at welterweight.

154 has been the most competitive division the last 6 years or so - or even before. They've all been decimating each other. If Charlo is nothing and all his opponents are nothing why haven't any of the major welterweight fighters moved up - Spence/Crawford/Ugas/Thurman/Garcia - none have been in a hurry to go to 154. Khan went up and got obliterated at 155 (ok not technically JMW but close enough), Brook went up but did nothing.

36 fights and Vanes is his best win from 7 years ago. He didn't even bother to make weight for that one because it was a non-title fight.

Good for Charlo on shutting these folks down. A Bud match up sounds intriguing but the man is going into his biggest fight of his career. Let him focus on that. They’re also disrespecting Castaño by constantly overlooking him.

Idk but it seems like your basing your opinion of Jermell's record on the names you actually know. Can't believe you think Vanes is his best win. Not sure if you've followed 154 very closely through the years.

Let’s see your record. You obviously don’t know what you’re talking about old man

I don't follow it all that closely in the last several years, but I've seen enough of Jermell in action to form my opinion of him. There is no reason for him to throw shade at Crawford if he moves up to 154. Crawford walks around at about 180 lbs., pretty sure he'd be competitive at 154, and that scares the shyt out of Jernell, who will hide behind the PBC protection program to avoid him.
