That's Sky and Dazn. That's proven.
It won’t happen cause of greed. It’s best for the fans no doubt. How long have you been following boxing?

Have you seen the accounts? At best you could say they’re employing a loss leading strategy, but they’re not exactly leading the industry by any metric tbh.

Spending money isn't a sign of success, but even if it was, they're failing because they've gone from spending huge amounts initially to cutting back across all areas in recent months.

The plan seemed to be to sign up any US-based fighters they could, even though it meant overpaying almost all of them and even in cases where they had no idea how to build their popularity or who they could fight. Tevin Farmer, Andrade and others all got overpaid by DAZN, but weren't build into stars by Hearn, who had no idea how to promote them or who to match them with. Even at prospect level it happened, Hearn signed Yeleussinov because he had the gold medal, but didn't really know how to build him and so gave up.

Hearn's bread and butter is selling hype to casuals. He was a perfect match for Sky. He is running out of ideas and cash with Dazn.

Yeah if this is “ok” I would sure hate to see what you consider failure….you must work for Eddie Hearn.

And tbh even on the casual front Frank is starting to take over.

It's called making an aggressive start. PBC done exactly the same thing. Spent loads in the beginning then cut it back. They also haven't made stars of some fighters. Although in their case I would suggest they have limited them in order to not risk playing with others. Their methods are to feed Mexicans to the black fighters. That's what's selling, more than the fighters themselves. So ultimately Hearn and Dazn are still having success. Canelo being on Dazn for nearly all of his last 8 fights or so might suggest that. Failing platforms don't draw big stars like that.

I shouldn’t really say this but after the collapse of their Eurosport deal, McGrail might be trying to look for a way out of his Probellum deal.
Then he'll most likely go to Boxxer as they seem to be pulling out all the stops. And good for them. I like shalom and he's off to a flier. I was just clarifying as you said they got the 4 they wanted, but it seems to be 3. But they'll probably get the others.

Just wondering also what is going on with Queensbury. Not only did they not get any of the Olympians, but I'm seeing a lot of their fighters going to Probellum. Any reason for that, that you know of? Probellum seems like a good place to be. As long as there's no DK involvement of course. But Queensbury looking thinner by the minute it seems.

Frank doesn’t have the pull anymore. Probellum were offering great money, however all the Kinahan stuff and now losing their deal with Eurosport has definitely made things complicated. They have no shows scheduled as of now to my knowledge.
