Always enjoyed watching Ben fight. Great achievement by Shalom to acquire the GB Team. He’s doing very well, especially considering where it began for Boxxer.

As I said last year, just a matter of time before Boxxer are the number one promotional company in be UK. Shalom won the lottery when he got Sky’s backing. Just like Hearn did in 2011, Warren did in the 90’s etc.

He was always going to end up at Sky, only other option was maybe Wasserman now they have the Channel 5 deal. BT aren’t committed enough to boxing and barely anybody watches DAZN.

Very talented young fighter. Him, McCormack, Price and Clarke were the four everybody wanted. Boxxer are in a great position for the future getting 3/4.

Great signings for sure. We're those the only 4 everybody wanted? Did nobody want Yafai? Hope they are all successful.

It will take time. Right now it's a big main event with essentially an undercard full of small hall fighters that hopefully will blossom on the big stage. These big name amateurs will bolster the cards. They'll most likely be fast tracked to star status as that's needed. But they must be careful not to move them too quickly. It'll be interesting to watch the progression.

did you see Hartman’s videos on the decline of Hearn and blavatnik having to inject billions into dayzin again?

Not really. Has there ever been a Flyweight star in the UK for example? Galal’s a talented kid just like Kal was but they can’t sell tickets and can’t generate money. They’re not assets to a promoter.

I don’t think it’ll take very long tbh. Maybe two years something like that. You’ll start to see fighters leaving Matchroom for Boxxer in the near future, just like they began leaving Warren for Matchroom back in 2012/13. Warren had Groves, DeGale, Bellew, Cleverly, Brook, Chisora, Saunders, Gavin etc when he left Sky. They all ended up back at Sky eventually. Sky dominate the boxing and sports industry in this country. Unfortunately that’s never likely to change.

I haven’t mate. Not too sure who that is tbh. Is it that Hatman Strikes Back dude? I don’t watch too much on YouTube tbh. Only really Boxing Asylum every Sunday.

It was always going to happen though. Hearn’s success was largely if not solely down to Sky’s backing. I don’t think DAZN understood that and that’s why their venture into boxing has been so disastrous.
