Besides bringing corrupt judges again. I don’t see how Canelo can beat Bivol at any weight. Bivol proved he is better at Canelo in every aspect and attribute of boxing. Canelo was outclassed and schooled. You can see in the fight that he was lost, frustrated and confused and he didnt know what to do vs Bivol. When was the last time a #1 p4p king took a beating/schooling like this against a guy outside the top 10 p4p list? I don’t think it’s a smart idea to rematch Bivol at 168 because if Canelo loses those 168 belts. He’s over, he’s done. what can Canelo do better or different to win the fight?

He needs to stop fighting McDonald's workers like Callum Smith, Caleb Plant, BJS, Miguel Cotto, etc so he can be prepared for an actual great fighter.

He can’t just rely on the walk you down guard up intimidation strategy. He can’t rely on breaking down a fighter by just his aura and chin. He has to box. He didn’t show any footwork, waist movement, or jabs.

Against Jacobs, Trout, and Cotto he earned those victories by putting effort to box his way in and then throw his power shots. Instead, he fought Bivol like he did Callum Smith and we know them UK dudes ain’t built like that mentally. The Eastern European guys are going to require you to actually box and beat them with superior skills..ie GGG.

I agree. Canelo actually regressed technically after the Callum Smith fight. He fell in love with his power too much.

He can drain Bivol down and hope he is not healthy for the fight lol. After what I saw Saturday, I can't see him beating that kid. He didn't lose because he was smaller, he lost because Bivol was a better fighter overall

Maybe Nelo can switch his attack on Bivol's right arm/bicep in the rematch fight... He almost succeeded doing it on Bivol's left arm which was badly beaten up and bruised...

Seems like there are only 2 ways to beat Bivol, or any fighter really.

You can outwork him and beat him on volume - Canelo has 0 chance of that. Literally almost 0.

Or he can hurt him with big shots or a big shot; that is very possible but still not a high percentage for Canelo vs Bivol.

Bivol is just a better boxer. Canelo has had more hype surrounding him but I can't really see Canelo beating him at any weight. They are probably the same weight walking around.

He can hold hostage Bivol's family or have a sharpshooter in the audience. Other than that, nothing.

Kind of worked in Ggg 2

in any event, he needs to not load up and actually study this guy

i literally laughed when Bivol countered Canelo was like how dare he hit me

I was like this can’t be the guy I saw make cotto and jacobs miss so effortlessly

He could do a Mike Tyson impersonation but I doubt he’s smart enough to see it would work.
