If Canelo Alvarez decides to have a rematch vs Dmitry Bivol, what can Canelo do better or different to win the fight?

Draining fighters always works. it will definitely help his cause. They will be closer in size for one. Bivol was good but Canelo was poor and predictable. He is better than what he showed but i agree with you

Just like how everyone before fight was saying bivol had no chance they will now say canelo would have no chance in a rematch, neither are true, the rematch is a competitive fight.
he can’t get inside and he moved his head before and still got beat....bivol has his number and you could see that by round 3 .....if canelo could have adapted he would have done but just couldn’t get to bivol and bivol every aspect of what happened in that ring Saturday night.

His only chance would be to land a Hail Mary and hope for the best

What we do know is he had a hydration clause on Bivol? Dawson said it was no issue vs Ward but it was. Maybe Bivol is a little, little chinny at 168 and Canelo can wobble him 2-3 times. that's 7 rounds right there for canelo since he starts off 4-0 vs you.

          Nobody wants to see that.

Canelo needs to move on, has GGG Eubank (UK since he wants to fight there), Charlo, and big money vs Benavidez and Spence.

Yeah we hear this kind of thing every time there's an unexpected loss, "oh he tried everything, he can't adapt, the other guy has his number"

It's like people never get wins back in rematches

Again the rematch is competitive, Bivol would be favourite but canelo has a 1/3 or 1/4 chance imo

He is a ATG for a reason lets see what he does if he takes the rematch, the loss could be the best thing thats happened to him.

Thats just Canelo aura everyone legit thought he was unbeatable but i knew a loss would come if he went up in weight classes.

Everybody has a chance for sure....but if bivol remains focused and sticks to his superior boxing ability he wins.......canelo’s one weakness has always been his foot speed and that’s never improved and at 31 it’s only going to be downhill after that.

The way they both performed it certainly should not have been expected at I did bet on bivol winning on points at the bookmakers.

He though he could simply stalk his opponent get on top of him and use his power shots to win bivol has shown it takes a lot more than that to beat him.

let’s be fair the fight was not relatively hard for bivol and he never really came out of first gear in that fight.....it was measured and calculated

hey it was a 1 round win for bivol.

don't act like Canelo can't just win 1 more round from Bivol.

i literally laughed when Bivol countered Canelo was like how dare he hit me

I was like this can’t be the guy I saw make cotto and jacobs miss so effortlessly
I still don't think Canelo should have gotten a result in fight 2 vs GGG, but he did fight better in that fight.

In any event I don't see the correlation there.

Bivol fights at 175. GGG fights at 160. As you go up in weight, guys are bigger, hit harder, and take punches better.
