Of Bivols 20 fights, 12 have been for a world championship. Dumbest post ever…….

Shane Mosley & Austin Trout where not no hopers.

Trout was undefeated, WBA Super Welter Weight Champion. Who had recently beat Miguel Cotto.

Mosley was. End of his career and he was never good at 154 anyways.

Ali beat Liston with no championship experience, Fury beat Wlad with no championship experience.

You are either good enough or you aren't, far too much stock put into "resume" and "oh but this guy beat 10 bums in title fights"

It's styles and ability, resumes don't mean ****.

I wouldn't go that far. Experience can be the deciding factor if two fighters are close in ability, but Canelo showed he is not close to Floyd or even Bivol.

maybe a cherry pick gone bad.

                  canelo's opponent choices are:

-never really good to begin with
-over the hill and past it
                  -green

they probably thought bivol would be a good opponent because he could be good but at the moment probably still a little green

                  it just back fired

canelo's stock doesn't drop though, had they gotten a "w" then it would've dropped

Canelo's stock definitely dropped. He can no longer be considered the P4P king anymore.
