We will see how green bivil is in hindsight by how much he improves in future. If down the line civil improved a lot then we can say he was green. But bivol has beat everyone he needed to beat in division and he is 31 years old, not 23 years old. I'm sure 31 year old civil beats 23 year old bivol. Plus bivol not drained and taller by 4.5 inches.

As an amateur Bivol won gold at the World Combat Games as well as multiple gold medals at European championships and Cadet world championships.

And even though he only had 19 pro fights he's basically fought elite competition from the start and beat everyone.

It's crazy to me that Canelo and his fans have been blaming a lack of experience for him losing to Floyd, yet Bivol stepped up (with far less experience than Canelo had when he fought Floyd) and just got the job done. No excuses. I guess some fighters just have "it" while others don't.
