Personally, I don't think this was an off-night, I just think what worked against everyone else didn't work against Bivol.

Honestly, it would pay for Canelo to get fitter, lighter on his feet, and look to come forward more, win, lose or draw. If he does, and finds he can put more pressure on Bivol, he may find some openings in that tight defence.

As it stands, Bivol's mastery of distance and footwork give him the advantage. He's mobile in a way Canelo isn't.

Canelo shouldn't take the rematch and I don't think he will. He was completely lost in there and Bivol looked like he was just warming up.

This is the perfect time for Hearn to make GGG vs Andrade. Gives GGG a stay-busy fight (maybe), and gives Andrade the opportunity he needs, and deserves, according to Hearn.

LOL - GGG is absolutely not risking that payday with Canelo - why would he? Andrade is leaving Matchroom precisely because Hearn couldn't get him a fight with Canelo or Golovkin

Then again people, those Vegas judges, in Canelo's favour. Somehow they all three said he only lost 115-113. Canelo thinks he won somehow. He should go back and watch a replay.

While I like Canelo, he seems to be fighting with a God's complex (he's been very much the narcissist). Ever since he beat Kovalev, he's been obsessed with fighting at a much heavier weight class. Perhaps his corner/team, yes friends, or fights against light punching bigger men like Saunders, and Plant has given him the illusion that he belongs at super middle weight - to light heavyweight. He does not. For him to say he felt Bivol's power should be an indicator that the light heavyweight division is too big for him...... because Bivol is not a power puncher. Perhaps Canelo should try to come to his senses and start looking to get in the ring with fighters his size that we'd rather see him face, like Charlo, GGG, Andrade, Muguia etc .
