So Canelo was nothing special in the first place ?

Look at how Pacquiao 10yrs ago was troubling heavier opponents with his speed/agility/power and footwork. Now Canelo is stepping up for the first time since the competitive fights against GGG and he looked completely out of his league, did not even dominate a second of ANY round.

He has definitely been severely overrated ever since the GGG fights.

Look, he is a great fighter.

And he never really beat a great fighter clearly.

I have always felt like Bivol would be too much for him.

Bivol is just not Saunders, Plant and that guys at 168. Bivol is bigger guy and more skilled than dudes Canelo fought at 168.

Mayweather, GGG 2x , Lara, Bivol. I believe Canelo lost more than twice in these fights.

If he had subpar opponents, he'd get more love

Of course hes something special, but hes not unbeatable especially if he keeps jumping around different divisions. I think this has kind of brought some people back down to earth though after the Canelo/Usyk talk.

Canelo is definitely a GOOD fighter but I think the many gifts he received from the judges.... went to his head and made him, and his nuthuggers think he is invincible. I think ANY real boxing fan would see that Bivol would be the clear winner, HOWEVER we did not know if the judges would see it the same way. After all, we all saw Canelo lose to GGG and others before, merely to be given the nod in Vegas. WE even saw it tonight with all three judges giving Canelo the first 4 rounds. It is the ONLY reason I did not bet against Canelo.

Canelo has been flat footed for a while, and we all saw that... and since moving up to 168, he became slower and relying more on his power.

Let's rate him after he ends his career. There are still great fights, legacy to build for him.

No. He's good. I picked him to win.
