What happened to the great black fighters at higher weights?

Does anyone else realize the best fighter at 160 all the way to heavyweight is either white or Latino. How the hell did this happen? Is it other sports taking the best young guys away from boxing gyms

It's been explained many times.

1. More competition, Soviets are pro now, Cubans, brits aren't training on pies and beer anymore etc

2. Cultural shift, black fighters used to have very hard upbringing, forging character and fighting spirit, nowadays they are as pampered as anyone else.

3. Lack of success breeds lack of success, they have had no success at heavyweight for nearly 30 years, they knew Wilder was a fraud deep down, nobody is inspiring black kids to take up the sport
