Yeah, this kinda. The judges had it a bit close best I can tell (I ended up sleeping through most of the fight) but at least the right guy got the nod... and let's face it even those of us who thought Bivol was likely to outbox Canelo thought there was a good chance of him being jobbed by the judges.

In all a win for boxing far as I'm concerned.

They were disrespecting Bivol too much.

No nation anthem for him, he came the first to the ring ( but he was defending champion), a rematch clause for Canelo..

      Bivol wins a rematch also.

This absolutely derails his paydays and that fvkcing ego of that camp. Two losses two weeks in a row. Love to see it

Its not like Canelo is totally done now. I definitely dont think he should take the rematch but if he goes back down it'll be business as usual probably, and people will still want to see him fight GGG, Benavidez, Charlo etc, and those are much bigger fights than this commercially.

            It derails Canelo's plans. Obviously.

It damages the Canelo brand. But it should only damage it to the extent of realising he can't fight anyone at any weight. He is a pound for pound great. He just bit off more than he could chew.

Respect to a man trying to be truly great. Hopefully people can deal with someone losing a fight and still being great.

What a gift Mexico gave Russia on the eve of Victory Day. Russia must be proud of Bivol. Congratulations!

While the rest of the world is cancelling Russian athletes, USA did good by making this fight happen.
I said this before.. athletes should never be cancelled no matter what. War is war and sport is sport.

Joshua is global. It hurts the HW division seriously financially without him having the belts. The Arabs aren't paying $100 for anyone else. Mexicans are made, not the boxing world. Plant got the same money fighting Canelo Jermall was offered to fight Andrade.

Keep the fraud out of 175. He doesn't belong there. I guess Reynoso will up the PEDs for the rematch. 117-111 fight with 115-113 cards. They were trying to rob him like Lara and GGG

                    Fraud.

I agree canceling is the most ridiculous thing right now. Biv upset the apple cart by not laying down as a victim
