Don't be surprised if Canelo pops dirty for something before the Bivol rematch!

This looks like it could be a repeat of the Golovkin situation where he performed badly in the first fight - getting backed up and gassing throughout with no conceivable solution to the puzzle.

Based on this first fight with Bivol, I don't see what Canelo can do differently... He doesn't throw enough and the shots he does land had no noticeable effect on Bivols head and body. Bivol will still bring his excellent technical qualities and might even go for the knockout now that he's had experience with Canelo. There is no way Canelo enters that ring in September without some sort of chemical in his body...

Agreed, Canelo looked like her had to go in there last night without help from Mexican beef, same way Valdez looked last weekend. Tough couple of weeks for the Reynoso camp. Better get that catering mixup sorted so they can get their usual steaks back…

All the Floyd fan girls are out in full force, blindly overlooking that Canelo attempted to do something Floyd never dared to do, which is, fight a bigger, elite, skilled fighter in their prime at their optimum weight. The headline to this forum is that Bivol shocked the boxing world? I would think Canelo winning would be a shock, due to the fact that he was at every disadvantage, since the opponent he was fighting, is the bigger, skillful, and an elite undefeated champion in his prime. Let’s not forget, no catch weight to weight drain the bigger opponent either. Bivol’s only disadvantage was just that he is relatively unknown. Floyd never attempted this type of challenge. Floyd’s excuses were always that he would not take on such challenges because the opponents were unknown, and were not PPV draws. Antonio Margarito and Paul Williams come to mind as some fighters that Floyd ducked by using this excuse or he would fake retire to duck. Hell, Erislandy Lara probably could’ve beat Floyd but of course, Floyd never would’ve had the balls to move up to face him. Please save the illegal wrap comments, because this was not even an assumption at the time.

Not true. Bivol was very humble in fight week saying he would try his best while Canelo was saying he would KO Bivol - absolutely hilarious in hindsight now lol.

Floyd got called out by Canelo he damn sure took that challenge. Went up in weight to a weight he couldn't carry and DOMINATED a fight that the judge couldn't see with a telescope.....

Disciplined body control won that fight! I was very impressed at how Bivol maintained his balance for the entire fight. Canelo just didn’t look right the whole night, but that should not take away from a fantastic performance!!!
