i never seen canelo come in unprepared, i think he is ready but bivol is the real deal, he is not like those chumps canelo fought at 168. he is also not old like kovalev, he has decent handspeed and he doesnt have to pull his punches to try to be quick like old kovalev, he isnt a huge puncher but he can punch with full power at a decent speed. canelo has already dropped rounds to guys who can keep him at a distance with a good jab, bivol is very good at this and very good at moving. bivol is smart too he is not going to keep bending down forward like a moron like BJS if he sees canelo throwing the uppercut a lot, he will adjust. canelo was throwing that since the opening rounds and BJS dumb ass ignored it.

the one thing that is unknown for me is that bivol is used to fighting guys his size, its hard to find a manlet with t rex arms like canelo who can also hit, bivol cant practice this in sparring, he could spar welterweights but their body punches wont be like canelos. canelo is the one used to fighting taller guys and having to close the distance.

i cant see either guy getting stopped here. i think it could be close. gun to my head i pick canelo

Great assessment. Not much to add so I won't.

I'll say this. The narrative a couple years ago was, "eh why won't he ever face a guy like Bivol? Kovalev is a cherry, he'll never have the nerve to face Bivol or Beterbiev." The atmosphere around Bivol was like he was too big of a challenge. So I think it highly unlikely that camp Canelo is takin Bivol lightly or underestimating. ...

I hope not because if Canelo isn't at 100% percent he can lose this fight which imo is one of the most difficult guys he could have faced.
At this stage of the game he is a tradesman, a master Carpenter doesn't worry about building a new house, he just applies what he knows and when he knows what he is doing its nothing to them, especially if camp went well and nothing is wrong., the greats don't fear any fighter they just prepare and do their job, and the greats don't underestimate anyone

It was a UD win by Bivol tho 2 cards were close, 2 and 1 point margins...

If the fight has already been won outside the ring, then is underestimating who? Check the edge with offshore bookies. Another fraud Canelo fight Saturday

Over confident I think and as a byproduct he may be underestimating Bivol’s chances of winning more than 6 rounds. I think it’s going to be close down the stretch with Canelo desperately trying to at least get a kd to seal the win.

                  Hey Trey Shaw.

                  Serious question.

4 months ago you were saying how Bivol was your typical 1-2 Russian stuff, was soft to the body, that he was ducking Gilberto Ramirez and Ramirez would destroy him.

What changed? Did you go back and watch his old fights and realize what we all were saying about how Bivol isn't someone to **** around with? Or are you just hyping him up now so that if canelo wins you can say he beat a great?

My position has always been and will always be that Bivol is tied for #1 in that division, close to a p4p fighter and a very dangerous challenge for canelo. What's yours?

I think your being a bit too sensitive. I spoke truth, it's not a dig at floyd to say nel o was green and drained, that's exactly what Floyd wanted nel o to be.But
I never said Floyd wasn't good. In fact you can say I was praising Floyd by saying nel o is so confident he thinks he can even beat floyd whilst being disadvantaged, nel o don't care. But it backfired
