You can force a retired fighter, to retire and give up the title? They're supposed to drop the title if they're retired Frank.

Go away Frank. You, Tyson and all the other oxygen thieves who are desperate for attention all the time need to be quiet unless you've got something of worth to say.

What WBC should do is an elimination tournament for next mandatory. If Wilder and Ruiz are serious about moving forward in careers - perfect opportunity to show it. Joyce, Hrgovic. Of course they all won’t join in but that a tournament would take you well into 2023 and by that time we will know if Fury is bluffing

If Furys throwing around retirement accusations they have every right to not want to be strung along and not make a title fight fir a vacant belt . Fury really just don’t know when to quit being annoying, no pun intended .

Fighters who are 100% retired and not just saying it for attention tend to vacate their belts.

If Fury keeps the title, I’ll assume he promised he’ll face the winner of Usyk-Joshua II. If he vacates, he’ll take a few years off before returning.

Fury just destroyed his WBC mando, there won't be another mandatory due for a long while.

He has time to mull things over and reconsider if he wants. Without the pressure to have to make a title defense.

I guess saying you are retired went over your head ?

You cannot make that claim and not think any sanctioned body wont want a direct answer .because you are not only being annoying to the fans but you are costing the WBC potential money by waiting on a retirement plan and walking away down the line without fighting ,basically holding a belt hostage and no plans on defending their and your own title.

I know you don’t really live in 5h3 real world but it is what it is right ?

Fury just fulfilled his mandatory. He has no other obligation to the WBC for a good while so there is no need for them to bother him at the moment.

What part of that don't you understand?

When has any truth ever come out of Fury's mouth? Dude has no intention of retiring which is expected and his team knows it too hence the reaction. It's just lip service to continue to toy around or boost his little ego. If you are truly retired, then no one on your team should be up in arms if the WBC simply wants to confirm what you already stated multiple times so they can figure out next steps for their sanctioning organization/ belt. It doesn't matter whether you 've fulfilled your mando or not, you are retired so it shouldn't be a problem giving up the belt.
