Had a guy coming at him all night and just peppered him all over and that’s it, had that one left hand as Valdez rushed in and that’s about the only flush power punch he landed. In contrast Rigondeaux was super exciting when guys came to fight.

Standing in front "not running" doesn't necessarily equal exciting. Power punching, combinations, knock downs and kos are what most people want to see. Shakur is not an exciting boxer.

I suspect when he moves he"ll revert to being more defensive minded and struggle to build his appeal to casuals because of it. Kid will have a great career,probably on par with Wards as far as stardom and appeal.
