Usyk is golden at 201. He's barely bulked up at all for heavyweight. He was like 220 lbs in the ring vs AJ, right? So he is already a cruiserweight still. He just needs to do a normal Canelo Alvarez type 20 lbs weight cut the night before the weigh in, then rehydrate it the next day. He doesn't even need to train down to cruiserweight. He can just train exactly the same as he trained for AJ, then do the Canelo weight cut the night before the weigh in, and then put it back on. Works for Canelo. He still stays strong, great chin, even his stamina is getting better. Usyk can just do the same thing. Weight cutting science is common knowledge for all the top trainers, so he should be able to do it.
And worse case scenario, he can do it over a week, instead of in just one day, and still be way bigger than Canelo.
