exactly, Canelo would never get KTFO’d by a journeyman fighter.

If canelo goes up and actually Defeats Usyk he is def one of the all time greats no doubt about it at all, i would love for the fight to be a tough fight where both get hurt so he can actually get some recognition hahaha sometimes the p4p kings are so domminant during their eras that its hard to give em credit because the make it looks so easy

Perfect textbook example of "delusions of grandeur". And....is he avoiding Beterbiev??

No disrespect to Canelo, but the guy must’ve smoked a taco. Usyks love of range, great shot selection and constant movement would befuddle Canelo to no end. Usyk and Mayweather score real POINTS, They rock your head considerably when they land. They might not knock you out, but after the fight you’ll feel like you were accosted by two burglars in broad daylight.

I think Canelo might just be talking tough, because no matter what all his naysayers say? This Russian is no joke! Rocky Balboa is probably very impressed with Canelo’s bravery and has definitely drawn inspiration for his movies from guys like him. Hey, if Canelo really wants Usyk, he’d better make sure he calls him out constantly after both their assignments are over, and at a fair catch weight that leaves neither guy respectfully in corpse like conditions.

Ruiz was a lot better than you say. He was a very respectable long term champ, in an era where there were many heavy punchers. He never refused a fight, and still managed to win.

My opinion is that Usyk would chew up Alvarez and spit him out in about 5-7 rounds.
He seems, from his record, and the descriptions of his fights, to be far superior as a boxer and a tactician. And he HAS a punch., Of 17 fights, including his heavyweight fights, he has 14 KOs. And in all of those, and those he's won on points he's won overwhelmingly, except for the one close fight with Briedis.

Very much like Roy Jones who hardly ever dropped a round until he fought Tarver. Vitali Klitschko the same.

And he's had NO gift decisions like Alvarez had had.

So I don't understand the Alvarez fans optimism.

Its not as impossible as some are implying. Be honest, as long as Canelo doesn't get knocked out we all know he has a better than not chance of getting the decision. And Usyk hasnt knocked anyone out at heavyweight yet.

Well 201 technically is HW its doable fight truth is canelo can go up beat usyk and still get critics cherrypicking and ducking rants wont cease regardless, in any case canelo has already hands full fighting bivol who I believe has genuine shot beating ginger we'll see

Canelo went 12 rounds with guys at 154 and 160. He went 12 rounds with a drained Chavez Jr even though a healthy 175 Chavez Jr got knocked out by B level light heavyweight Fonfara (who Bivol would dominate).

Usyk has knocked Tony Bellew at cruiserweight, and almost knocked out 250 lbs heavyweight Anthony Joshua, and also badly hurt Derek Chisora at heavyweight.

So who do you think hits harder, Usyk or Canelo? How long would a drained Chavez Jr last against Usyk lol? 3 rounds? Would Alfredo Angulo last basically the full fight vs Usyk?

I'd like to see this. But I'd rather see Lomachenko move up to fight Canelo than Canelo move up to fight Usyk. Both Loma and Canelo would have to pitch a no hitter, but unlike Canelo, Loma has the footwork to do that.
