I think Taylor could have stayed on her bike and pitched a shutout tbh but she chose to stand and trade unlike chicken mayweather running away from pac all night.

Both women put on a great show. I thought Serrano won and find the 97-93 scorecard for Taylor to be ridiculous. But judges tend to favor the fighter with the more powerful promotor. Not to mention, Ireland hasn’t had any truly impactful success in boxing in about a century. They needed this so it was financially prudent to give her the decision.

Mc didn't dig deep enough! Serrano hurt her multiple times, outlanded and even hurt her again in the 12th.

I don't know about Ross Enamait's actual boxing IQ, but he was an internet fitness guru before training Katie Taylor and it shows.

He had her in great shape and that allowed her to overcome the battering Amanda Serrano gave her and mount a comeback. Serrano on the other hand appeared to punch herself out and faded down the stretch.

Taylor proved me wrong. I thought she would fold at some point and be overwhelmed by Serrano's pressure.

Not only did she survive getting battered, but she came back stronger and closed out the rounds better. She deserved the win. Both women put on a great show though.

Ireland has had numerous world champions in multiple weight classes throughout boxing history. That's not even to mention boxers of Irish bloodline like Tyson Fury. Also, the second highest grossing PPV of all time involved an Irishman. To say Ireland, a country of 5m, hasn't been impactful or successful in boxing is moronic.

Great fight! I didn't realize Taylor was already 35 years old.....she took a lot of shots last night....she needs a rematch or two, then retire

Taylor showed massive heart and came back to secure what I thought was a draw. Amanda showed her metal too in more than one way. They both obviously lofted women's boxing way up. I also think they need to start scoring rounds where one fighter is tearing into and hurting the other one as a 10-8 round. Too many haters here can't appreciate each women; and too damn much bias.

FINALLY you recognize how deep Taylor had to dig to come back from hell and take championship rounds. Leave the haha emoticons out of it, it makes you look 12 years old.
