When did Tyson Fury shift from feather fisted to power puncher

was it Sugarhill....was he the one that made Fury a power puncher from how he was usually described as a feather fisted fighter

I think his power is still the same, early on in his career? He would routine be knocking down fighters. I don't think he is a monster puncher, but he hits hard enough.

Naturally, you will have more power planting your feet as opposed to using elusive movement.

I have this weird theory that Tyson was elusive because he knew his height and weight and reach would make up for lost power from his mobility.

Any guy as big as him would punch hard, timing accuracy and the one they don't see contribute to KOing guys it doesn't have to be raw power, the ones that have already been KOed generally fall to the one they don't see easily, those shots switch their lights off.

I think since he hooked up with the black folks. If you go to the Worldstar website you will find that those guys all have one punch KO power....so getting with them and having them unlock their secrets has benefited him greatly.

Doesn't seem that weird honestly. In fact, it makes a good amount of sense.

Tyson Fury for 80% of his career, was not a elusive fighter. In the beginning of his career, he was pretty much a big slightly clumsy heavyweight who liked to fight on the offensive or on the inside etc.

His Riddler style only started to surface in and around the Martin Rogan fight. And just prior to this.

It then peaked vs Wladimir Kiltschko.

Tyson Fury in the early part of his career, would hurt fighters and routinely knock them down.

SugarHill took Tyson Fury back to his roots, and most innate style. Kronk Fury is who Tyson Fury has always naturally wanted to be.

Peter Fury was the coach who created 'The Riddler'. By suppressing and refining aspects of Tyson Fury natural way of fighting.

The Riddler style is a bi-product of Peter Fury's training. Fury last weekend, brought back shades of his old Riddler style. He did not need to show much, as Whyte's movement and ability to cut off the ring and close the distance was terrible etc.

Back when Fury was saying how he is going to stop Wilder in the rematch I posted that he very well could.

Not because he showed any indication of seriously hurting Wilder in the first match but because any man that size who is trained is capable of delivering damaging shots if they are intent on throwing with some heat.

The sheer weight and speed that he throws with is at the least going to be a very thudding shot.
