What do you think the next 18 months will look like for him?
Where does Whyte go from here?

He's fought a lot so I think he will have an extended break and then possibly a 3rd fight against Chisora, which is easy money. And depending on where AJ and Usyk are by then, he'll face one of those 2. -

Hearn might try to make AJ v Whyte 2 when AJ loses to Usyk again. Both coming off losses, so it’s not like the public expectation will just be that it’s any kind of mismatch. It can be billed as two of them fighting for their career, they don’t like each other personally, there’s history. AJ won the first fight but he was badly hurt too. People will watch.
He’s a free agent, so Is Chisora, Wouldn’t surprise me if sky/Boxxer offered them decent money for a 3rd fight. Both are still big names and sky need more good names.
There’s still good fights out there for him, he’s still beaten some solid fighters in the past. He was never going to beat Fury, the levels were too big and stylistically it was a bad one for Whyte.
I have absolutely no problem watching him fight the likes of Ruiz, Ortiz, Joyce, Parker, Dubois, Wallin, Hrgovic, Sanchez, Gassiev, etc. even Wilder is he continues.Last edited by deathofaclown; 04-25-2022, 02:01 PM.Comment

Interesting question. I'd expect him to take some time off and then probably return with a warm up fight. After that, I think he starts trying to target the American based guys. Think he'll go really hard after a fight with Wilder, while also trying to convince Ruiz or Ortiz to get in the ring with him. Could also see a rematch with Parker happening at some point down the lineComment

Whyte has enough drawing power to make killer money and honestly will probably draw a crowd next fight based solely on people wondering what he has left. He wont settle for being a Chirosa gatekeeper type but could still mix it up with some big name fighters in the division and test them out. Another knockout loss and his career is over providing it's not already done.Comment
