No it's not his swansong. Retire at the top and beating usyk and Josh is retiring at top. Not whyte. Ali resume is littered with fighters as good as whyte

I thought it would be, even wrote a appreciation or tribute post.

But it looks like he is up to his games again. My post was genuine.

When he does retire, I will not re-write another one.

Fury may have two more fights, against Usyk & Joshua.

I would love to see another fight at least. Fight the winner of AJ/Usyk. I just imagine him picking any number of his styles to make AJ look like Whyte. I cannot even predict what would happen against Usyk but there is a chance he brings thunder and takes him out in 8. Either way, he CANNOT retire yet with one very important fight looming!

What does Whyte gain from faking the fight?

I really hope not. I believe he has the ability to genuinely solidify himself as an ATG, but the actual resume isnt there yet. Its a bit like Khabib with MMA - talented, dominant, undefeated, but retired early so the resume is a little shallow in terms of genuine top end wins.

Fury is 33 now, and I dont think his style is one that would be negatively effected by age too much. He could easily stick around until 2025 without really declining, lets say he has 4 fights in that time including unifying vs the Usyk/AJ winner, beating the Joyce/Parker and Ruiz/Ortiz winners and throw in one other top 10ish level guy like Hrgovic or Sanchez, or even a Wallin rematch. Thats all very doable and would massively strengthen his case.

Pac beating thurman at 42 is retiring at top. Fury beating usyk and Josh is equivalent

I truly feel that this isn't the end for Fury's pro boxing career. There's at least 1 or 2 big money fights left for him: Usyk or Joshua for Undisputed and/or a Joshua fight by itself. Let's say Usyk beats Joshua, Fury could still face Joshua and it would bring in significant money. Maybe not the levels it could have reached, but it's still a bankable fight.

He ain’t ducking AJ. He will fight him even if Joshua loses to Usyk. Too much money on the line… You just can’t accept the fact that Joshua collected Fury’s vacated belts & then lost them twice. Fury ended the 2 long time champion’s reigns. You made yourself look pretty bad yesterday with your cherry pick comment after weeks of saying Whyte would be his toughest fight. I will laugh if your hero Filip “I can’t put 12 people in a bingo hall” Hrgovic loses to that ancient chinese relic Yan Can or whatever his name is… it is time you start giving Fury his due rather you like him or not….

If Usyk wins the Joshua rematch we see Fury/Usyk then Fury will fight Joshua before calling it a career. If Joshua beats Usyk we will see 2 Fury/Joshua fights before Fury retires… He won’t be fighting anyone other than Joshua & Usyk. Sure he might fight that MMA dude for big money but no other boxer is getting a fight with Fury… Filip”I can’t put 12 people in a bingo hall” Hrgovic or Jimmy Wang Yang will be fighting for a vacant IBF title when their shot is due & any other mandatory challenger will be doing the same. After unification the belts will be vacant. NO ducking is happening for you delusional nuthuggers who think otherwise. It is simply they bring NO money to the table.
