How Dillian Whyte knocks Fury out

Firstly, Fury is obviously the huge favourite here. He has a lot of advantages, such as speed and size. And is because of this is rightly a 6-1 favourite. No need to discuss how Tyson wins, we can all see how.

But can Dillian win? Fury does have a couple of serious weaknesses that are Dillians strengths.

    Namely, the overhand right.

Tyson is always open to it. He just doesn't see it.
This has plagued him since the start of his career and he hasn't ever found a solution.

Let me give you a couple of examples.

    v John McDermott
A fight many (most?) believe Tyson lost. The overhand right (and left hook) were where McDermott had his most success e.g.:

    v Dereck Chisora

    v Neven Pajkić

    v Steve Cunningham

    v Deontay Wilder

He just gets hit and hurt with it very often throughout his career

    So does Dillian throw it?
Of course, just a couple of examples. But he probably throws 10 or so a fight.

    (Followed by left hook)

The other couple of punches that Fury seems to struggle with are left hooks and body shots. And we all know that when Dillian throws these they are devastating.

I'll just post this video up as I'm bored now

ANYWAY, I know lots won't believe there's any hope. Probably right. Fury is a 6/1 favourite after all.

But some food for thought for what is hopefully a great fight! Hopefully adds some interest at least for some of you that think it'll be a walkover!

The 6 / 1 odds are just inflated because Fury defeating Wilder 3x . Most boxing casuals think he was the second best heavyweight because of clever marketing ,many forget Klitschko was the far better fighter not even close and Whyte lost so the average bettor isn’t going to really look into it . This is easily a close to 50 / 50 fight . Smart bettors Will actually take the off odds which don’t really match the fight itself .

Problem is, Whyte's Right is not that good. That left hook is his main weapon. I could certainly see Whyte going body, head, hooks.... and then later on throw a few overhand chopping rights to finally fall the tree.

Whyte has to be in the correct position to land the overhand right. . .it's hard to do that against a constant mover like Fury.

Left hooks to the body would be smart, aiming for the liver. But he's gonna be taking a lot of punishment, whatever he does.

Whyte doesn't have the defense or stamina to last very long. If he doesn't land something big in the early rounds, he's fucked.

Tyson's ability to block and parry punches is poor. Like you said, Dillian Whyte needs to mix-it up, initiating the attack by targeting the body first then the head ; if he misses the head-shot the work to the body is going to cut Tyson's legs.

Deontay Wilder failed at remaining consistent with the jab to Fury's body, that was money all night -- throughout the trilogy.

A more even fight would have been Whyte vs The Nipple
