Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Comes In Significantly Lighter For Dillian Whyte Bout Than Third Wilder Fight

Tyson Fury didn't deliver on his promise Friday to come in heavier than ever for his showdown with Dillian Whyte. Not even close. The unbeaten WBC heavyweight champion stepped on the scale at 264 3/4 pounds for their 12-round title fight Saturday night at Wembley Stadium in London.

He knows Whyte is a better fighter that has more than just a straight right to look out for.

To be fair for that third Wilder fight he was sleeping in NICU for 2 weeks with his wife and their poorly baby.

      Wilder isn't very good.

Fury looks out of shape to me, Whyte in best condition I’ve seen him

I think Fury is planning on using his legs to box more in this fight.

Whyte was in hiding, so Fury stayed in the gym. Bad move by Whyte, he didnt even try to throw Fury off his game.

Yeah 265-270 is a good weigh for fury. He might not look the best aesthetically with it but he's strong and can do the rounds at a good clip.

All signs pointing to a decision win by Fury. I think he likes Whyte enough to avoid punishing him too much.

Of course it will end in three rounds...

He came in heavy against Wilder so he could wear him out and neutralize the distance that Wilder wanted to load up that bomb.
Whyte is a different fighter and Fury understands he needs more movement in this one so it makes sense he came in lighter.
