I think majority of boxing fans do respect him but obviously have right to be upset with the car accident and how that has led to him only fighting two times since 2019. But he's a true DOG in the ring and has a lot of confidence in himself. Spence signed to fight Danny Garcia before even sparring one day after the accident when he could have easily taken a tune up and then went right to Ugas after the torn retina.

We will be getting an epic match up later this year. Rivalries between fighters and their fan bases is natural but really there is no need to disrespect either Spence or Crawford. This fight is going to be amazing and I can't wait for it!

Errol Spence is a straight up fighter. Since that car accident his fights have been up and down but that performance against Ugas was special. To me, that was a Chavez-Like performance, Spence went in chest to chest and hit dude everywhere, every round! Spence was no nonsense in the ring, he's not playing around hot doggin, under-training or not taking the sport seriously.

For the past year I've been leaning towards Crawford but that performance against a strong fighter like Ugas got me back in the Spence camp.

I echo that sentiment, Not only is he a fan friendly fighter by fighting the best competition available but he also has a crowd pleasing style. His fights are always entertaining. Even after coming off a long and lengthy hiatus he still wants to fight the best out there. He's always like nah! I don't want a tuneup. He is among a rare breed of fighters left.
