Plant and Smith were never great fighters, just a bunch of paper champions.

Trout was a legitimate win. Trout was unbeaten at the time and had just schooled the great Miguel Cotto to win his title. That was a great win by Canelo.

Lara was a robbery win. Doesn't count.

But yes, he did beat Trout clean.

I also happen to believe that he beat Golovkin twice. i thought Canelo won both fights and I don't get at all why on earth people think Golovkin won the first fight.

I saw a gun shy Golovkin get countered with hard shots every time he tried to engage.

People claim that Golovkin controlled the pace of the fight, Bullshieeet!

Canelo did what he wanted. He engaged on his terms, disingaged on his terms, rested on the ropes when he needed to (where Golovkin would hesitate because Canelo countered him hard from the ropes), and circled when he wanted to.

At no point in the fight did Golovkin have any control.

Problem is that the perception of that fight was influenced by casual fans who think Canelo should have just stood there and traded and if he didn't do what they wanted then he lost. Bs.

check out how many fans in this thread think that Golovkin will be right in that fight, will give Canelo fits, and has a decent chance to win...

Bradley: Canelo is Going To Mop Up Golovkin, Stop Him or Hurt Him Really Bad
Former two division champion Timothy Bradley is expecting Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez to do a real job on Gennadiy Golovkin when they collide in the ring.

Hmmmm...that can also be interpreted as he does not give a damn about the people if you give it a little thought. But that would only be true if people really cared for this fight which I suspect they don't at this stage of the game.

that is exactly what happened alright

FACT: for 5 rounds in that fight, ALL THREE JUDGES awarded those 5 rounds to Canelo... go check the official scorecards

and the reason why they awarded those 5 rounds to Canelo, is because Canelo CLEARLY won those rounds... they were clean rounds

all of the other rounds were close... some of them were VERY close, and very difficult to score

there is no doubt that Golovkin fought his way back into the fight, and there is no doubt that Canelo finished the strongest

the wankers who insist that... " Golovkin won easy "... are just fanboy re-tards who have no idea how to score a fight

the only thing I disagree with you is... calling Canelo/Lara a robbery is ridiculous

I have no problem whatsoever if you think that Lara won, but you definitely cannot call that fight a robbery

that was a VERY close fight, just like Canelo/Golovkin... it was far too close to call a robbery, with far too many swing rounds... just like Canelo/Golovkin

Canelo had the same problems he had with Mayweather, and Lara gave up far too much ground and struggled to land anything meaningful

                    enjoy the fight bro

Canelo hasn't talked to many people clearly. I literally did not see a single person on the forums even Canelo nut huggers calling for a 3rd GGG fight now. He is delusional. Any excuse to duck Benavidez.
