There are people who want to see this fight, which is sad. If Canelo doesn’t fight him, they will call it a duck. The best that can happen is GGG pulls out with an “injury” and fights someone else or retires. Just get this fight over with and then fight winner of Beterbiev-Smith Jr. Those are the fights Canelo fans want to see, and the Bivol fight.

You don't need to watch. An old man did beat a bum with his walking stick.

The problem with that bold face lie is that the trilogy is coming 4 years after it would've been a box office bonanza.
The fact's are that Oscar De La Hoya, protected you for 2 years prior to the first fight ( remember the infamous we have to let the fight marinate ) lie.
GGG doesn't have any wins on paper, but most fans saw GGG beating Canelo in both of their fights, just not getting the decision.
So based on those hard facts the only one'(s), your fooling are yourself, and your die hard fans, but your not fooling the main stream boxing fans.
If you would have had the trilogy with GGG when you signed your original contract with DAZN, boxing fans would've probably accepted the prior 2 highly controversial decisions in your favor.
After going through those 2 grueling fights you just didn't have the heart to go through that hell again, so you snaked, and slithered your way out of it.
The ironic thing about that was that the older fighter GGG was more than willing to take that third fight just to get at you one more time.
Most of your response is emotional blather, and you are wrong on the one objective fact that you allude to. Canelo Alvarez never signed a contract with DAZN. That was the bone of contention! That is why DAZN and De La Hoya caved so quickly. Start with that fact and you will unravel the mystery.

For some reason, DAZN executives have been always been fixated on an Alvarez vs Golovkin fight. They vastly overpaid Golovkin to recruit and sign him to fight Canelo. Golovkin for all his prowess in the ring was never a big draw and still isn't. It is Alvarez who has the enormous following -- the cash cow as they say. I simply don't get it.

This is a boxing site, not an anger management session. Take your meds then sit down in a quiet place then take a deep breath and say om over and over again for 10 minutes and your anger will go away.

oh, while we are on that subject... this video popped a couple days back...

no need to thank me... love that man

                  enjoy the fight bro

                  ...
Damn bro - that was a treat! Definitely going to have to show My old school Father that one. Hagler was never in a boring fight..that style was one of kind to go along with one of the best chins ever. That clean uppercut he took from Mugabi without even flinching was unreal. The ONLY time i ever saw him hurt was from that Hearns right hand in that 1st round. The man would just not stop bringing the pain. Appreciate it Bro!

I was referring to Avni Yildrim, and GGG, don't try to confuse the BoxingScene subscriber's by stating thing's I didn't say.
Stop defending the indefensible, there are plenty of other fighters he could've fought instead he chose Yildrim then, and GGG now.
He caught hell from boxing fans for not fighting GGG 4 years ago, Yildrim a couple of years ago, and now has a tentative fight scheduled with GGG 4 years to late.
You shouldn't defend a fighter to the extent that you dismiss their own blatant violations, coming up positive for Steroids, a dirty cheat in boxing.
I don't pay to see Canelo's fights because he picks, and choses who he fights, he's not a promoter he's a fighter, and he doesn't run boxing.
It's not who he wants to fight, it's who the fans want to see him fight thats important in the sport of boxing, and thats the way it is.
Now if you just stop looking into the mirror, maybe you'll stop seeing clown's.
