I think we're being a bit niave if we think Kinahan isn't still going to pull the strings behind the scenes. He technically wasn't part of MTK for years. They got Probellum now too although Eurosport have ditched them too.

You really think the other money in boxing is clean?
Everyone has been working with Kinahan. Arum, Warren, Hearn, Fury, AJ, Crawford etc. The only prominent figure I can’t remember working with him is Haymon.
He’s been great for boxing too. Lad’s I know have gotten opportunities they never would have got without MTK.
As for fighters getting the opportunities..at what cost? Serious question..doesn’t it matter to you that this has come through laundered drug money, abetted by violence including multiple murders?Comment

Has he really been great for boxing though? If anything, Kinahan’s involvement has brought the sport a lot of bad publicity.

I don’t give a f*** what people do outside of boxing. It’s what they do within the sport that matters to me. MTK have ploughed millions into the sport at all levels, they were great for boxing and I hope they find a way to remain involved in the sport purely because FIGHTERS will benefit from it and those are the people who matter.
As I said he’s not a good person but he’s been great for boxing. Kinahan not being involved in boxing doesn’t even solve anything, what does it stop? His criminal empire will continue, so at least he can actually do some good with his fortune from purely a boxing perspective.

This could be massive for Boxxer. They have the best platform and the least bloated roster.Comment
