    Worst Nicknames In Heavyweight History

Thought about doing something different here just fir fun ,looking at the history of the sport what were some real winners ? This includes generic and reused names mostly .

    1. Anthony Joshua ( A.J ) come on I understand it’s his brand simple and effective but a super star with just his initials is kind of unimaginative if there was one though not the worst and some may have been better off going this route .

    2. Jared Anderson ( The Real Big Baby ) Just no .

    3. David Adeleye ( Big D ) awful and a name that could get you scrutinized in the future fir obvious reasons ,just about as unimaginative you can get as well .

4 . Jeremy ( Half Man Half Amazing ) Williams . This could be the worst one .

    5. James ( The Fighting Cowboy) Tillis .

6 . ( Big ) George Foreman . Just bland and not exciting definitely George was more then deserving of big .

    7. Michael ( Double M ) Moorer . Definitely not the catchy triple G moniker .

    8. Jarell ( Big Baby ) Miller

    9 . Rid**** ( Big Daddy ) Bowe .

    10. Frank ( True Brit ) Bruno .

    11. Oleg ( The BiG O ) Maskayev

    12. Larry ( The Legend ) Donald . This was bad because it was more of an Ali gimmick in the ring .

    13. Tony ( The Artist ) Yoka .

I got to 12 anymore if so I’ll add them . It’s always interesting what fighters are thinking at the time they think it’s a good idea to attach a name to themselves . Particularly in today’s social media where anything that stands out can contribute to one’s profile, this list has already 5 guys though A.J is established and is a world trademark in his successful brand so he doesn’t really count but still makes this list .

A lot of those are solid nick names. “Big Daddy” was definitely a good one.

6'10" Lance "Mount" Whitaker, which made sense.

            changed his nickname to "Goofi"

Can someone tell me why Chisora is 'Del Boy'? I like it even though I don't get it.

Based on a popular tv show here in the UK called only fools and horses it's the main characters name dereck/del boy. He must of been a fan or something.

Fres Oquendo went by "Fast Fres" even though he was slow as molasses.
