While I did see flaws in both McClellan and (especially) Valero, I'm inclined to believe that Ibeabuchi would have beaten every opponent on his way to the top of the heavyweight division. He was that good, all around.

Speaking of McClellan again, what appears unbelievable is that he lost to the same Dennis Milton who lasted less than two minutes against Julian Jackson...Willy Wanker likes this.

He stood to ferocious bombs by David Tua without problems, and trapped elusive Chris Byrd to disintegrate him in less than five rounds.
If AJ trades, he's getting knocked out early. If he starts running, his tank will be empty soon enough for the President to catch him mid-rounds.
Ibeabuchi was a skilled heavyweight who happened to punch very hard.Tatabanya likes this.

- - Seems likethe usual anthropoids never figured out Ike was ruined by Tua.
AJ has yet to be ruined in a record setting career.

AJ did take some heavy shots from some of his opponents. Hopefully he won't suffer the consequences in the years to come. Genetics could play a part sometimes... look at George Chuvalo, he took hellacious blows throughout his career yet he started showing their effects only very later in life.Last edited by Tatabanya; 04-19-2022, 11:22 PM.
