Why couldn't Khan beat Canelo?

Why wasn't Khan able to beat Canelo, even though Floyd beat Canelo easily? I mean, if Khan is the master boxer he and his fans say he is, surely he should have been able to follow the Floyd blueprint and outbox Canelo to a wide UD.

Khan is front runner pitter-patter, it will always fail in top company and when it does Khan is glass, Floyd was as tough as boots with a rock solid chin and that's not even comparing ring iq and talent.

Khan amateur style impressed people that don't really understand boxing and 12-round championship fights.

Amir GOAT Khan could’ve easily ended the fight in round 1, but decided to toy with Canelo instead. I remembered as if it was yesterday. Canelo only won that fight because someone spiked Khan’s drink and knocked him out unconsciously after all the lights had been turned off in the area for a few seconds.
