The only variable I can see that can prevent this fight from happening is economics. If Terence Bud Crawford is unreasonable in his demands by pricing himself out then of course, the fight won't happen.

I said it years ago and it never happened and I will say it again its not gonna happen. Some dumb excuse will stop it whether its greed, arrogance ******ity, ego or then its gonna mandatory this mandatory that. Both of these guys are braindead so its not happening just like roy jones vs hopkins tried for years to fight but this 70-30-60-40 stuff stopped it ,only to make it too late. This isn’t a Mayweather/Pacquiao situation. Both those guys were doing big PPV numbers by themselves.
They had a reason to avoid each other for as long as possible to avoid taking a loss.
Spence nor Crawford have those options. If Bud doesn’t get this fight now it may never happen.
Spence could move up to 154.
Seems both guys want it but we’ll see once it gets down to the money.
