I don't know if the build up to this fight was intentional, but it feels like a BIG deal now. It always has had its intrigue because it's arguably the two best men in the division. But the fact that both men have racked up significant wins in the last couple years and the fact that it's going to be for the Undisputed Crown makes the allure of this fight even bigger. It's not MayPac level but when we finally see Spence and Crawford standing across from each other in the same ring, it's gonna be f'n exciting. May the best man win and hopefully they get paid handsomely.

Spence holds 3 belts at WW, is undefeated and is facing Crawford to try to unify the WW division for the first time in history and you call him a chump?
Almost got KO’d? Well, he wasn’t.

Lastly, because of your toxic hate, you assume he’ll make the same mistake so that Crawford finishes him off.

Without this turning into the usual heated exchange, why don’t you like Spence? Why do you devalue his accomplishments?

'This fight will happen once Crawford recognises and accepts he's the B side. Not the inferior fighter or the underdog by any means but a guy with no promoter, no ppv sales and 1 out of 4 titles. if he believes in himself, he'll accept the lesser % he's gonna get offered and make the fight'

As a punter, I just kinda think of Crawford as the A side because of what he's achieved at 135, 140 & 147. I know Bud will think of himself as the A side. I see what you're saying but I would hate this to fall apart, yet again, on 40/60 split. To save face I'd go something like 53/47. The truth is both men will bitterly regret it if this particular cash cow doesn't moo all the way to market. And what I would say to Crawford, in particular, is look at Yuriorkis Gamboa. If his people had done the right deals & he'd got the huge payday v Juanma he wouldn't have to be endangering himself at over 40.

You see this here? I made it, you can read my name in this piece at the bottom-right corner. I predicted that Errol Spence was going to be a superstar before he beat Kell Brook for the IBF.

Needless to say, I was a fan of Errol Spence jr. but his cowardice evasion of Terence Crawford that went on for years made me sick, more importantly his political self serving attitude is what is wrong and 'toxic' in the world of boxing.

Speaking the 'Truth' is not hate, however it does offend.

This is a fair response. I don’t agree with it but I get it.
A lot of big fights didn’t get made because of one reason or another … Gamboa-JuanMa, Cotto-Floyd at WW, Floyd-Margarito, Brook-Khan, Ryan Garcia/Kamboso/Loma/Tank, Oscar-Tito rematch, Kovalev-Stevenson, and many others … I doubt ducking was the reason.
It was mostly promotional and purse split disagreements.

It looks like Spence-Crawford is happening next. Perhaps September 2022.
Both are still in their prime, both are undefeated, both have better resumes today than they did three years ago and both will make career paydays.

If Spence beats Crawford (I am leaning towards that), Will your stand change?

My attitude against Errol Spence jr. might change, considering he fought who he should of faced from the begining, however I'm going to tell it like it was in future discussions. I imagine some random stranger is going read my unflattering comments about Spence and call me a 'hater', and the cycle repeats -- thats life.

Just my opinion, but I've never been a Spence fan as I believe he's ducked Crawford forever. But you have to give him credit for doing what he needed to do. Ugas is marginal boxer and as I said earlier, he should thank his lucky stars for two, undeserved championship fights and all the money that came with it. Any contender could have beat old man Manny. Spence was trying to cement his legacy with a win over Paquiao. That would have been fine if it was five years ago. Spence versus Crawford is truly a mega fight on par with Leonard/Hearns, Leonard/Hagler, Hagler/Hearns and Duran/Leonard. The winner of this fight will be crowned the unified welterweight champion and one of the best ever in the division. The loser will be remembered as a very good fighter but not the best of his era.
