Spence Crawford COULD be a bigger fight than GGG Canelo I (if it takes place within a year), in that both Spence and Crawford are relative peers of each other and they would both be in their prime. As opposed to the age difference and an older, marinated G. But even then, they are kinda getting old.Jeez, I think Spence showing a little ring rust with his timing for a couple rounds seems reasonable. All this talk Crawford is gonna mop him up are tripping. Who's got the better resume at this point and 3 belts? Not saying Spence is gonna for sure win but cmon, this will be a great fight. We def learned he is vulnerable to the body when he starts firing off them shots.
Spence might be the best athlete in boxing.
Is Spence/Crawford a bigger fight than GGG/Canelo 1 or 2???Last edited by DeeMoney; 04-17-2022, 12:29 AM.Comment

The only one saying that's Ugas only way of winning is you. I honestly felt Ugas stood a chance at winning a decision based on Spence's performance against Garcia and Garcia but Spence proved me wrong. But the fact is that Spence standing straight up and down was a rookie mistake by Spence and a missed opportunity for Ugas and Ugas is going to watch that 6th round and kick himself.Comment

Yeah I think you are right but just as a boxing fan, which is the bigger/better fight to you?
No, those fights were events, particularly the rematch. As popular as Spence and Crawford are among us who love the sport, they do not have the name recognition of Alvarez and Golovkin. But I am having problems coming up with a bigger fight today. MAYBE if Joshua beats Usyk in the rematch and Fury takes care of Whyte, Fury against Joshua is bigger. But that is it.
*only asking cause its a hard ****in question hahaComment

Bigger fight for me is Spence vs Crawford. I don't think Fury nor Joshua is an all time great. Don't get me wrong, that's a hell of a scrap but Spence vs Crawford is the next gen Floyd vs Manny and to get that fight in their absolute primes would be something.
Since 2015 the best fights made are...
Mayweather vs Paq (Fight was atrocious put anyone to sleep)
Canelo vs GGG #1 (GGG was robbed)
Spence vs Crawford
I don't get the GGG fans in the 2nd fight. GGG was robbed of a W in fight #1 but Canelo pulverized him in fight #2 and it's going to be worse in #3. Also, Bivol is going to get destroyed by Canelo. I don't think their is anyone who can beat todays Canelo but possibly Beterbiev and that's a long shot.

I agree but "pulverized" is a bit of a reach.
Maybe in the future it will be a aging Canelo losing to Mungia hitting his prime. Last edited by TouchWonder; 04-17-2022, 01:00 AM.Comment

Agree with everything u said except GGG/Canelo 1 was a tie and Munguia will never beat Canelo and will probably lose before he ever fights Canelo.Comment
