that just means they are also draws.. If you think this fight would sell just as much if fury was fighting otto wallin, then you are dreaming. whyte is part of the draw for this fight.Comment

The hate for Whyte is almost cult-like. Half of these guys don't even know why they hate him.

They don't need a retirement fund. Every successful boxer needs a reliable money manager. Carrying an entourage of ass kissers costs money with NO return on investment. The smart ones know better.Comment

That's a massive crowd that's going to be singing 'Sweet Caroline' before the main event, as is the tradition now in the UK.
Gotta hand it to the British, they put on a great atmosphere at those events. I remember Joshua-Usyk ringwalks were something else.Comment

Indeed. I think most of the criticism is coming from Americans who only understand their market. Whyte wouldn't sell in the States, so they think he mustn't be a draw anywhere else either and obviously Fury is a name over there.
They might have a point if the money was coming from America. But it's not and Fury vs pretty much anybody except AJ, Whyte or possibly Usyk isn't a stadium fight in the UK either. The domestic rivalry is what's selling the fight. Brits love a big fight between British rivals that detest each other.
Put another way, if Whyte was as unimportant as some posters are suggesting, Warren wouldn't be ****ing on about his lack of engagement in the promotion of the fight.Comment
